18歲的肯亞男子凱文（Kevin Simiyu）2月3日時，因為性侵鄰居的母雞，被警察逮捕。事後，他在法庭上承認自己的罪刑，並聲稱「因為貧窮，所以不敢接近女人」，所以才將慾望發洩在母雞身上。

凱文住在肯亞的奔戈馬（Bungoma），上個月3日晚間7點，隨身行李箱他性侵鄰居的母雞，正好被人贓俱獲，並且送入警察局。凱文2月27日出庭時，先是要求法院寬恕他，並稱「因為邪靈驅使」犯下罪刑，更因為自己非常貧窮，所以不敢接近女人，怕被鄙視跟嘲笑。

據報導，凱文最後被判刑15個月，而被性侵的可憐母雞，則是在做完一系列的證據採集之後，虛脫而死。
